ETHOS AND AIMS

The Grove Pre-School is a warm, homely, nurturing and stimulating setting, which offers every child the best possible introduction into early education. We promote continuous play, in which the children will explore, grow, and discover the natural world. Through the use of natural, recycled and open-ended resources, we hope to provide each child with an inspiring, imaginative environment filled with wonder, in which to learn and reach their full potential. 

Our wonderful, experiences, and passionate staff build strong, loving, supportive bonds with the children in their care. With our child-centred approach to learning, we build on children’s knowledge and interests. Children are seen as individuals and encouraged to make their own decisions in play, building on their own ideas and using critical thinking. Our staff know that from supporting a child’s independence, they will flourish in confidence and self-esteem. We are intent on giving each child the best start and equip them with the life skills they will need to make transitions in life. 

Here at the Grove, we understand the huge importance of every child being given the same opportunities. Our rich and diverse curriculum aims to give each child new and wonderful experiences, igniting their creativity, imagination, and their desire to discover the world around them.
